Ingenious makes two senior appointments

Ingenious Asset Management (IAM) has made two senior appointments, with Wayne Ellis joining as investment director and Mark Doidge as business development manager.

The news comes as IAM officially tops GBP1.1bn in assets under management.
Guy Bowles (pictured), chief executive of Ingenious Asset Management, says: “Mark and Wayne join during an exciting period of growth for the asset management team. We have been appointed to manage over GBP100m of assets through financial intermediaries over the past eighteen months, increasing our assets under management to over GBP1.1bn. Mark and Wayne have been specifically recruited to meet this rapidly growing demand for our services from investment advisers.”
Ellis joins IAM with over 25 years’ experience in investment and financial services. He was previously director of private clients at Merchant Securities prior to its acquisition by Sanlam.

Doidge, who has over 20 years’ experience in sales to the intermediary market, most recently worked at Quilter where he acted as regional sales manager in London and the Home Counties.
