ETF Securities (UK) has hired former iShares executive Philippe Roset as head of Benelux sales.

Roset reports into Scott Thompson, co-head EMEA sales.

Roset will manage the group’s relationships with key financial institutions in the Benelux region.

He brings a wealth of experience to the role and was most recently at iShares, where he was responsible for developing the company’s Benelux business across a broad range of investor segments, from pension funds and insurers to wealth managers and intermediary networks.

Prior to his time at iShares, Roset was a supervisory officer at the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Market. As part of the financial market infrastructure division, he was responsible for monitoring various local and cross-border trading platforms and for carrying out due diligence on foreign exchanges’ activities in the Netherlands.

Thompson says: “Philippe’s appointment reinforces our commitment to European investors. In addition to providing the most comprehensive range of exchange-traded commodities in the region, we will continue to ensure that our clients have access to timely and relevant information and a high quality of service. Philippe will play a key role in ensuring that we can meet the evolving needs of commodity investors in the Benelux market.”
