Citi has been appointed by Huntington Asset Advisors to provide fund administration, custody and index receipt services for Huntington Strategy Shares ETFs.
The first Huntington ETF, Huntington Ecological ETF, was launched on 20 June, and was followed by the Rotating Strategy ETF on 25 July.
“We have a long-standing relationship with Citi and we knew we could rely on their expertise to provide valuable insight on how to develop active ETFs,” says Randy Bateman (pictured), president and chief investment officer of Huntington Funds. “Citi met all our project milestones and allowed us to focus our energy on launching a new product and building this business.”
Citi OpenInvestor currently provides services to 11 ETF managers in nine markets around the world. By offering custody, administration, index receipt agent, liquidity, and trading services across both active and passive ETFs, Citi focuses on delivering global solutions across the ETF servicing value chain.
“We are excited about extending our relationship with Huntington Asset Advisors through the launch of the US ETF servicing platform for their active ETF Trust,” says Chandresh Iyer, global head of custody and investment administration services, Citi. “With the launch of our ETF platform, we are uniquely positioned to deliver holistic solutions for all types of investment products across major markets.”
