VAM hires Mark Van Der Walt as regional sales manager in SA team

RELATED TOPICS

VAM Funds, the specialist Luxembourg-domiciled fund management firm, has expanded its South African team with the appointment of Mark Van Der Walt as regional sales manager, based in Johannesburg.

Van Der Walt’s appointment is designed to allow VAM to build on the success of its range of funds in South Africa where business levels have increased over the past four years.

Van Der Walt previously worked for Russell Investments in South Africa, where he was responsible for regional sales and client service.

Nigel Watson, VAM sales director, says: “VAM has successfully built distribution through the various platforms in South Africa for the last four years.  Our business and distribution partners have now achieved a level where local support on the ground is required in order for us to continue our development.”

The VAM fund range is currently managed in conjunction with four management businesses: Driehaus Capital Management, Enhanced Investment Products (EIP), Fleming Family & Partners and Peers SA.
