BNY Mellon to host symposium on best practices for ETFs

BNY Mellon is to host a symposium on exchange-traded funds to highlight best practices and strategies for registered investment advisers, sponsors, investors, and other participants in the ETF industry.

The symposium, A Laser View of a Global Market, will begin on 8 November 2012 and end on 9 November, at the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California.

"We believe this event will help industry participants stay ahead of changes in this rapidly evolving business," says Joseph Keenan, managing director for BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and head of its global ETF services business. "We are also hopeful that this symposium will help to raise investor awareness and educate investors within this rapidly evolving segment of the investment marketplace.

"Attendees will enjoy an opportunity to learn about new products and services from the leading experts and innovators in the ETF industry."

BNY Mellon is the largest service provider of ETFs in terms of number and range of ETFs serviced.
