Michael Barolsky has joined US Bancorp Fund Services (USBFS) as a legal compliance officer and assistant vice president, providing legal assistance with registration and regulation of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and mutual funds to support ETF-Fusion, USBFS’ ETF servicing solution.
With the addition of Barolsky, USBFS continues its commitment to expanding and enhancing its full service ETF service offerings with the necessary resources for investment managers sponsoring either existing or startup ETF products.

Prior to joining US Bancorp Fund Services, Barolsky practiced in the investment management group at Thompson Hine LLP, a national law firm. His legal practice focused on counseling investment companies and investment advisers in all aspects of compliance with federal and state securities laws.

Before practicing law, Barolsky was a management consultant in the strategy and operations practice of Deloitte Consulting LLP, working with companies in the financial services, telecommunications, and health care sectors. Barolsky received his Juris Doctorate from The George Washington University Law School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in global business and political dynamics, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in business management from Boston University.
