Vestra Wealth boosts partnership approach with IFA firms

Vestra Wealth, the independent London and Jersey based wealth management firm, has appointed David Lane as business development technical director.

Lane joins from AXA where he has been a senior technical consultant in Central London for the past 11 years.  He is a fellow of the Personal Finance Society, a Chartered Financial Planner and an affiliate member of STEP.
Tony Allan, head of IFA business development at Vestra, says: “In recruiting David, we have managed to attract one of the leading advisers in the technical consultancy field. The appointment is further proof that Vestra are committed to working in partnership with IFAs to help them develop their businesses. David will work alongside IFAs, highlighting business opportunities for their clients and professional connections, and ultimately help them to grow their business.”
Lane will draw on the expertise within the Vestra wealth investment team and offer advice to IFAs who require further technical and investment tools to compete with large banks in servicing their clients.
Lane says: “Since inception, Vestra has established a strong business development team to work in partnership with IFAs helping them to better service their clients. Vestra understands the changing landscape with regards to RDR and this new role reflects the importance that they place on working together with IFAs. There are many exciting opportunities and I look forward to helping ensure that Vestra deliver the best possible support and advice to the IFA community for their clients.”
