J O Hambro Investment Management (JOHIM) has strengthened its charity team with the appointment of Edward Novis as an investment manager.
Over the last 12 months JOHIM has seen growth in the demand for its charities business and a significant increase in the number of enquiries. JOHIM has been actively managing money in this space for over 20 years and currently manages portfolios for 95 charities, with this figure set to grow.
Novis has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets, having started his career at Cazenove & Co before joining Morgan Stanley in New York. Novis joined JOHIM in 2010 from Marble Bar Asset Management, where he worked as a pan-European portfolio manager.
James Pike, head of charities, JOHIM, says: “Charities are becoming increasingly concerned about the best way to manage their investable assets and it is more important than ever to help trustees explore the various options open to them.
“With this growing interest in our services for charities, the addition of Edward to the team adds strength and depth to our offering that will help us to continue to provide superior advice and performance to our clients.”
