Brinker Capital has appointed Jennifer Kulp, principal and former metro New York and Long Island regional director, as managing director of wealth solutions.

She will be headquartered in Brinker’s Berwyn, Pennsylvania home office and reports to vice chairman John Coyne.

In her new role, Kulp (pictured) will focus her efforts on supporting the investment needs of advisers with clients in the USD2m to USD10m investable asset range.

“In her 18 years with Brinker Capital, Jen has held a wide variety of roles, both internal and on the sales end of the business, and she’s been successful in every one,” says Coyne. “Jen’s new position will concentrate on building a key growth area for the firm – helping advisors deploy their client assets across a range of Brinker’s managed account investment solutions, both traditional and alternative.”

Prior to assuming her new role, Kulp was responsible for business development and client service in the metro New York area, and helped pioneer Brinker Capital’s development on the West Coast. She also served as a marketing coordinator for Brinker Capital and worked with many of the firm’s primary broker/dealer relationships. Her responsibilities included daily interaction with home office personnel and implementation of the firm’s marketing plan. Previously, she worked as an investment strategy analyst at Brinker Capital, introducing advisers to the firm and designing customised asset allocation strategies.

“I’m delighted to take on this new role and support our advisors’ mission of helping clients achieve their unique investment objectives,” says Kulp. “The multiple roles I’ve had at Brinker Capital, and the incredible mentoring I’ve been fortunate to receive, have gone a long way towards readying me for this new and exciting chapter.”
