ExpertPlan forms product partnership with One Capital Management

ExpertPlan, a provider of private label record-keeping plan services, has formed a product partnership with One Capital Management, a provider of managed retirement portfolios comprised of exchange-traded funds.

ExpertPlan will provide record-keeping and administrative services for OCM’s Strategic Retirement Solutions Model Program. Under this program OCM establishes and maintains strategic asset solutions models, which are offered as investment alternatives to plan participants. If a model is selected by a participant, OCM invests the assets of the participant’s account in a mix of ETFs in accordance with the selected model.

The product is a non-commissionable, full-service retirement plan that offers investment options for plan sponsors who are seeking balanced asset-allocation models to add to their company retirement plans. OCM supported portfolios are low-cost and provide participants investment opportunities without the higher costs of traditional mutual funds or funds of funds.

The new product partnership will allow the plan sponsor to transfer fiduciary liability for overseeing plan investments by formally "delegating" responsibility in writing to One Capital Management as the ERISA section 3(38) investment manager. This solution also discloses all plan expenses to help plan sponsors comply with the new fee disclosure environment and fully understand all of the plan costs, thereby helping plan sponsors to gain further protection from fiduciary liability.
