John K Moninger is joining Eaton Vance Distributors as director of retail sales on 26 November.
He will be responsible for leading all sales and relationship management for Eaton Vance’s brokerage and independent channels.
Moninger (pictured) will be based in Boston and report to Matthew J. Witkos, president of Eaton Vance Distributors.

"His experience and deep knowledge of the asset management industry have enabled him to build strong, lasting relationships. John’s passion, energy and enthusiasm are among his greatest assets and will serve him well as he works with our sales team to deliver financial solutions that address client needs."
Moninger comes to Eaton Vance from LPL Financial, where he was executive vice president of advisory and brokerage consulting services, responsible for the firm’s advisory and brokerage platforms and for leading a team of product consultants. He also led LPL’s financial planning group and wealth management services, which provide advice and solutions for high-net-worth and ultra high-net-worth client opportunities.
Previously, Moninger served as the national consulting director for investment solutions for UBS Financial Services.
He currently serves on the board of directors of the Investment Management Consultants Association, the Naval Special Warfare Family Foundation, and the Money Management Institute, where he is a member of the executive committee.
