New York-based exchange-traded fund sponsor Global X Funds is planning to add to its income-oriented line-up with the introduction of the Global X Super Dividend US ETF, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission regulatory filing.

The proposed new ET, which will track the INDXX SuperDividend US Low Volatility Index, will trade on the New York Stock Exchange.

According to the filing, the index tracks the performance of equally weighted common stocks, MLPs and REITs that rank among the highest dividend yielding equity securities in the US.
