Mirabaud Asset Management has recruited Andrew Lake in London as global high yield manager.
Lake joins from Aviva Investors where he was head of high yield portfolio management.
The appointment follows a number of high-profile hires over the past 12 months within the asset management division of Mirabaud, as the bank develops its range of funds and builds on its competitive advantages to meet the needs of its clients.
“Our asset management division goes from strength to strength as demonstrated by our ability to attract someone as successful as Andrew Lake; this addition to our team is clear evidence of the success of our development and will further support the growth of our range of funds,” says Lionel Aeschlimann, partner and head of asset management at Mirabaud.
Lake will report to Aeschlimann and will be in charge of managing global high yield solutions for Mirabaud’s clients.
Before joining Mirabaud, Lake spent two years at Aviva Investors where he ran the high yield business in London. Before Aviva, Lake was at F&C Asset Management for four years having begun his high yield career at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) in 1998.
Lake will start at Mirabaud on 3 January 2013.
