Independent discretionary wealth manager London & Capital has appointed two business development managers to its adviser solutions division in response to an increase in demand from advisers looking to outsource discretionary fund management (DFM).

Chris Hood joins the firm from Scottish Widows. He has more than 25 years’ experience working with advisers in the North, the region he will continue to be responsible for in his new role with London & Capital.

Graham Robinson joins the firm from Zurich Financial Services, with responsibility for the South West, including South Wales. His 17 year career has been spent largely in the fields of life assurance and pensions planning.

Hood and Robinson will be responsible for adviser liaison, offering support and assistance to those looking to use London & Capital’s suite of income and growth managed portfolios.

Richard Leigh, London & Capital co-founder and managing director, says: “Both Chris and Graham will add real value to our growing team, providing hands-on support to the growing numbers of advisers employing our client investment solutions. These appointments further enhance our proposition, and we are delighted to welcome them to the team.”
