Feargal Dempsey has joined the board of Source Markets as an independent director.
Source Markets is an Irish domiciled Ucits fund platform and the appointment of an additional independent director will further assure the priority of investor considerations in the operation of Source ETFs.
Dempsey is a consultant to ETFGI, an independent research and consulting firm providing services to investors and the ETF industry. He has held senior positions at Barclays Global Investors/BlackRock including head of product strategy iShares EMEA, head of product structuring iShares EMEA and head of product governance.
Previously he has also served as head of legal to ETF Securities and as a senior lawyer in Pioneer Investments.
