Pictet’s Hong Kong team assumes responsibility for Pictet-Greater China fund

Pictet’s new Hong Kong-based investment team of Pauline Dan and David Chen has assumed management of the Pictet’s USD356m Pictet-Greater China fund.



Lan Wang Simond, the former lead manager, will now focus on Pictet Total Return – Mandarin, which she has managed since launch, and the greater China long/short equity portfolios. 

Dan (head of the Greater China team) and Chen (senior investment manager) joined Pictet in the second half of 2012 and are both based in Hong Kong.

Dan began her career as an investment manager in 1994 at China Merchants China Investment Management. Before joining PAM she was formerly chief investment officer at Samsung Investment Management (Hong Kong) where she managed strategies such as Greater China, China A shares and Taiwan equity.

Chen joined Pictet from Amundi (Credit Agricole) Asset Management Hong Kong, where he managed Taiwanese and Korean equity mandates.
