Cheviot selects Blue Chip for dedicated Figaro support

Cheviot Asset Management has chosen Blue Chip to provide dedicated support for Figaro, its straight through processing solution.

Cheviot was looking to move away from its incumbent support provider to one that could offer additional value.

Cheviot held discussions with a number of data centre providers before finally selecting Blue Chip to deliver a hosted environment for Figaro that required no capital expenditure through its private cloud IaaS solution.

Cheviot’s requirements included IaaS on iSeries, High Availability (HA) delivered through a secondary off site secure location and Intel infrastructure for its web servers. In addition to this Cheviot also needed detailed daily reporting.

Blue Chip’s Tier 4 Design Data Centre in Bedford was already delivering similar solutions for other customers which made the transition from the incumbent to Blue Chip a quick and efficient process.
