FT Portfolios Canada launches three ETFs on TSX

FT Portfolios Canada, a privately owned company and an affiliate of US exchange-traded fund sponsor First Trust Portfolios, has launched three ETFs on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

 
The funds are: First Trust AlphaDEX Canadian Dividend Plus ETF; First Trust AlphaDEX US Dividend PLus ETF; and First Trust AlphaDEX Emerging Market Dividend ETF.
 
"We are proud that FT Portfolios Canada Co chose to list its products on Toronto Stock Exchange," says Ungad Chadda, senior vice president, TSX. "TSX is also proud that we continue to innovate and offer a diverse range of ETFs and other exchange traded products to investors."
 
First Trust is the fourth US firm with a Canadian affiliate offering ETFs on TSX. There are currently 293 ETFs and exchange-traded notes listed on TSX with a combined market capitalisation of over CAD68bn.
