Rory Bateman, currently head of European equities at Schroders, has been appointed head of UK and European equities with immediate effect.
Bateman’s (pictured) fund management responsibilities remain unchanged.
In creating this new role, Schroders is combining the value investing activities in the UK and Europe into one value team. Kevin Murphy, Nicholas Kirrage, Andrew Lyddon, Ian Kelly and Jamie Lowry will all report to Bateman.
