Asset manager Standard Life Investments (SLI) has appointed Daniel McKernan as head of sterling investment grade credit.
McKernan will be joining Standard Life Investments’ 34-strong credit team in the autumn, and will play a key role in driving both the sterling retail and institutional credit business. He will have lead responsibility for the Corporate Bond Fund and a number of large credit mandates.
McKernan will report directly into Craig Macdonald who will take over as head of credit following Andrew Sutherland’s retirement at the beginning of July.
