Frontier expands UK presence

RELATED TOPICS

Frontier Investment Management, the multi-asset investment boutique, is expanding its UK presence through the addition of two members to its business development team.

Christopher Cade (pictured) has been appointed head of UK sales having previously held senior roles at Skandia and Baring Asset Management in the UK intermediary sector.

Darren Hymos joins the team as a senior business development manager having previously held client facing roles at Cofunds and Investec.

Both appointments highlight Frontier’s continued drive into the UK intermediary market place having launched a UK regulated version of its flagship multi-asset fund in 2009 followed by a range of five risk-rated model portfolios, the Frontier Select Portfolios, in 2012.

Cade says: “I’m extremely pleased to be joining Frontier, as its multi-asset proposition addresses some of the key issues facing UK advisers at present. IFAs recognise they need to diversify, but it’s become obvious that for many – particularly low risk takers – that many past investment models are no longer fit for purpose. A new strategy is required that does not eat into returns in the low growth, low return environment. Frontier’s solution includes a significant allocation to alternative asset classes that act as a valuable diversification tool in client portfolios. In addition, the passive implementation of Frontier’s multi-asset strategy ensures there is sufficient fee headroom for adviser fees whilst still maintaining their value proposition to clients.”
