Artisan Partners is launching a new active equity fund, Artisan Global Small Cap Fund, which will be managed by the Artisan Partners global equity team.
The global equity portfolio management team is comprised of Mark L Yockey, Charles-Henri Hamker, Andrew J Euretig and David Geisler. Yockey and Hamker have worked together on the global equity team since 2000, Euretig joined in 2005 and Geisler in 2007.
Yockey, Hamker and Geisler will be the portfolio co-managers driving decision making in this new fund.

We are excited to launch this new fund, which will provide the team with the freedom to invest in small-cap stocks without regional constraints. In addition, we are pleased to see the continued development of decision making on the team with the promotion of Dave Geisler to portfolio manager.”
Yockey says: “Artisan Global Small Cap Fund is a natural extension of our global research. We find a lot of US small-cap ideas with attractive growth prospects and competitive advantages. We will now be able to leverage those ideas into a portfolio.”
