Butterfield Private Bank appoints head of marketing

Butterfield Bank (UK) has appointed Jo Hill as head of marketing. In this newly-created role Hill will work closely with Butterfield’s international offices to develop and manage all marketing and communication activity to promote the bank’s wealth management and private banking services.

Hill (pictured) has more than 10 years’ experience in marketing and public relations and has worked both in-house and in agency roles within the financial services sector, including a strategic management role within a FTSE 100 business.
 
“I’m looking forward to working closely with the team and my colleagues in our European business to promote Butterfield’s wealth management and private banking offerings,” says Hill. 
 
Raymond Sykes, managing director of Butterfield Bank (UK), says: “Jo brings a wealth of knowledge in aligning business development and marketing activity across a number of different operations; skills she honed during her time with her previous FTSE 100 employer. Her approach to analysing various product and service models will assist us to deliver clear and cohesive messages. The organisation will benefit greatly from having Jo in the head of marketing role as we bring together our European teams and adopt a more streamlined approach to developing future products and services.”
