Volume in fixed income exchange-traded funds increased by six per cent in quarter two, reversing the first quarter trend when they lost ground to equities, according to the latest Data Points report released by Tradeweb.
A higher proportion of overall trading volume was from sell requests; this trend was particularly pronounced in the fixed income sector, where over two-thirds of volume was selling.
