Avenue Bank has added three bankers to its private client team, providing added industry expertise focusing on the medical industry, physician practices and professional services firms.

Leading the new division is Steve Jaynes, senior vice president and director of private client banking – medical and professional services. Jaynes retired from SunTrust’s medical banking group in 2011.

Joining Avenue Bank as private client bankers with the medical and professional services team are senior vice presidents Bob Lawhon and Mike Blanchard. The two have 20 years’ and 35 years’ experience, respectively.

Avenue Bank chairman and chief executive Ron Samuels says: "Our success with our private client banking teams has demonstrated the opportunity to provide banking services with industry specialties, and the medical and professional services market has been a target for us for some time.

"The successful recruitment of these seasoned bankers with a strong local network is a testament to the company we created to be Nashville’s signature bank."

The team will be based initially at the bank’s corporate office in the historic Baggage Building at Union Station.
