Atlantic Trust hires Jason Stoneman in Washington DC


Atlantic Trust, the private wealth management division of Invesco Ltd, has appointed Jason L Stoneman as senior vice president and senior relationship manager in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

"Jason’s investment expertise and his effectiveness in building strong relationships with sophisticated clients make him a great addition to our Atlantic Trust team," says Jack Markwalter, Atlantic Trust chairman and chief executive. "As we continue to leverage the depth and breadth of our full range of solutions for private clients, Jason will provide further growth opportunities for our firm in the Mid-Atlantic region."
Stoneman will be responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop and implement investment and estate plans, as well as supporting the business development and overall client service efforts for the Washington, DC, office.
Stoneman brings more than eight years of industry experience, joining Atlantic Trust from HighTower Advisors, where he was a director of investment strategies for a team overseeing USD1.2bn in institutional and private client assets. Previously, he was a financial analyst with Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group. In addition, Stoneman served as an infantry officer in the US Army for six years prior to beginning his career in financial services.
