Butterfield strengthens asset management team

Butterfield Bank (UK) has appointed James McNeill and Nicholas Rilley as investment managers in the firm’s London-based asset management team.

 
In these newly-created roles McNeill and Rilley (pictured) will be responsible for providing fund analysis to the wider Butterfield group and working with clients to review and monitor their portfolios.
 
McNeill joins the business from Vintage Asset Management and Rilley from Prospect Wealth Management. Both are CFA level two qualified and have a strong foundation of investment analysis and portfolio management skills along with the practical knowledge of the investment industry emphasising ethical and professional standards.
 
Paul O’Neill, head of UK portfolio management and group research, says: “James and Nicholas’ experience in the investment management sector make them great additions to the team. Strengthening and expanding our asset management business through on the job training and recruitment of experienced investment advisors is a key pillar of our strategy as we take our European business model forward.”
