Heartwood appoints new client director

Boutique wealth manager Heartwood, which recently became part of the Handelsbanken Group, has strengthened its private wealth management team with the appointment of Jeremy Croysdill as client director.

Croysdill (pictured) will be based in the firm’s London office and report to Simon Dixon, head of private wealth management. He will be bringing the full range of Heartwood’s wealth management services to some of the company’s existing clients as well as working closely with Handelsbanken’s branch teams to provide investment and wealth management to their customers.
Croysdill, a Chartered Tax Adviser, joins Heartwood with over 27 years’ experience specialising in tax, financial planning and wealth management for private clients. Most recently, he worked at Kleinwort Benson Private Bank for eight years, during which time he fulfilled a number of senior roles and was promoted to head of wealth structuring in 2010 with overall responsibility for the tax and financial planning function.
Previously Croysdill worked for Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as an in-house tax accountant and spent 15 years at BDO, providing UK and international high net worth clients with tax advice.
Dixon says: “We are tremendously pleased to have attracted such an experienced and well regarded candidate as Jeremy to our team – he has a long and distinguished track record in providing tax and financial planning advice to private clients. He will play an important role in helping to build our fast growing client base, managing portfolios for clients who come to Heartwood direct and for Handelsbanken customers who require wealth management services. Jeremy is an excellent addition to our team and his appointment reflects the continuing demand we are experiencing for wealth and investment management.”
Croysdill says: “I am excited to be joining Heartwood at such an important period in their development. With a high quality client base and investment track record, Heartwood is well positioned to continue growing its business. I look forward to being part of this process.”
