Ludovic Chechin-Laurans is stepping down as a member of EFG International’s executive committee and head of private banking, Switzerland.
Chechin-Laurans (pictured) is returning to The Bahamas where he will pursue a new business venture, but will continue to collaborate with EFG International. Chechin-Laurans will assist with transitional arrangements in Switzerland and leaves on friendly terms.
Over the past eight years Chechin-Laurans established EFG International’s Luxembourg business in conjunction with François-Régis Montazel.
His position will not be replaced on EFG International’s executive committee and, in future, heads of private banking in Geneva and Zurich will report directly to John Williamson, group chief executive, in his capacity as CEO, EFG Bank, EFG International’s principal Swiss subsidiary.
