William T Mundy named executive managing director of Cardinal Wealth Services


Cardinal Bank has promoted William T “Bill” Mundy to senior vice president of Cardinal Bank and executive managing director of Cardinal Wealth Services.

In his new role, Mundy (pictured) will oversee the business development strategies and execution of the wealth services and commercial services executive teams.
“Bill is a proven industry leader who has successfully led many sales management initiatives during his distinguished career,” says F Kevin Reynolds, regional president of Cardinal Bank. “Since joining the Cardinal Wealth Services team, his market knowledge, experienced sales track record, and leadership have positively influenced our integrated sales strategy. Extending his management over the commercial services executive team will further enhance the effectiveness of our market teams. His leadership experience has been critical to the corporation’s continuing success and his well-deserved promotion reflects his invaluable contribution to our organisation.”
Mundy joined Cardinal in 2010 as managing director of the Cardinal Wealth Services. During his 26-year career at Wachovia, and predecessors First Union and Signet, Mundy held significant sales management positions in all facets of wealth management.
