Brooks Macdonald Asset Management (BMAM) has appointed Lisa Brown as an intermediary sales manager.

Brown (pictured) joins BMAM’s new business development (NBD) team and will be based out of the firm’s London office.

As part of her role in the NBD team, Brown will be increasing the support that BMAM provides to professional advisers in London.

Prior to joining Brooks Macdonald in April 2013, Brown was a strategic partnerships manager for Octopus Investments for five years, focussing on distribution through key national and network intermediary businesses. In her earlier career, Brown worked alongside entrepreneurs in the commercial property and professional services sectors.

Andrew Shepherd, BMAM joint managing director, says: “Lisa is a great addition to the team, strengthening our ability to provide an extremely high level of service to our network of introducing professional advisers. We always look to build closer relationships with professional advisers, and Lisa’s deep understanding of how they work and the support they need will aid us in this goal. I am confident she will make a big impact as part of our growing team.”

Brown says: “I am delighted to join Brooks Macdonald and to be part of the buzzing London team at such an exciting time of growth for the group. I firmly believe that BMAM’s client focussed strategies are totally on point in this challenging economic climate and I’m looking forward to helping the company build on their success in the future. I really enjoy working with professional advisers and feel that in this new role I will be able to assist them with the further development of their businesses.”
