Summit Capital appoints Kevin Glynn as portfolio manager

Summit Capital has appointed Kevin Glynn as a portfolio manager bringing a tactical exchange-traded fund strategy to the investment firm.

Glynn’s appointment further expands Summit’s global investment programme, building on its mission to provide sustainable, innovative solutions to clients seeking a differentiated approach to asset management.
Prior to joining Summit, Glynn founded Glynn Portfolio Management where he used a proprietary tactical asset allocation strategy. Glynn began his investment career in 1985, having worked within various asset management groups at Citigroup, DA Davidson and Key Investments.
"Kevin’s experience building and managing tactical ETF strategies aligns well with Summit’s broader mission to provide comprehensive asset allocation to our clients,” says Rob Martin, managing partner of Summit Capital. “We are delighted to welcome Kevin to the Summit team, and look forward to integrating his innovative approach and unique skills into our organisation.”
Summit’s investment style is most synonymous with endowments and foundations targeting an absolute return allocated across a full spectrum of asset classes through both direct and indirect active investment management. Through a multi-strategy, globally-oriented investment programme, the Summit Capital team puts capital to work in asset classes, investment vehicles and underlying securities deemed most attractive from a fundamental value perspective at various points throughout a full market cycle.
"Summit’s mission and investment philosophy dovetail nicely with my strategic approach to asset management,” Glynn says. “I’m looking forward to contributing to the firm’s performance over time, and helping our clients achieve solid risk-adjusted returns in all markets.”
