Before joining 3iDM in July 2012, he ran the global CLO new issue business at Credit Suisse. Prior to that Bellis held a number of roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2003, including running the European CLO and alternative fund structuring group and the illiquid structured credit trading business in Europe.

In total Bellis has 15 years of experience of structuring and raising loan and credit funds for asset managers and his teams have won a number of industry awards from IFR. Bellis also sat as the employee representative on the investment committee of the Credit Suisse UK Pension Fund from late 2010.

Sponsored by BNP Paribas, this inaugural event for Europe's CLO and Direct Lending Sector will feature extensive coverage on how the European CLO landscape is changing, assessing the issuance pipeline in 2013, outlook for issuance in 2014, structural and legal considerations, ratings methodology for CLOs, and, critically, CLO performance: how have they performed on a relative basis compared to other asset classes? In addition to developments in the CLO market the event will explore why Direct Lending funds are becoming an attractive long-term investment opportunity for institutions as they seek to deal with asset/liability matching in their portfolios.

"The Debt Forum is shaping up to be a 'fantastic event", says Sunil Gopalan, Chairman & Publisher of event organiser GFM Limited, the publisher of Institutional Asset Manager and Hedgeweek“We are delighted to have received so much interest from key market-leaders," says Gopalan (pictured). "The event will gather together the best minds in the industry to provide delegates with thought-leadership on the key challenges and opportunities facing both the CLO market and Direct Lending fund market.”

The Debt Forum is targeted towards Originators, Institutional Investors, Hedge Funds, Real Estate Funds and Private Equity Funds, Fund of Fund Managers, Family Offices, Law Firms, Loan Administrators, Advisers and Service Providers.
