Skandia platform integrates with Morningstar Adviser Workstation

RELATED TOPICS

Advisers using the Skandia platform can now import client holdings information directly into Morningstar Adviser Workstation to help with portfolio analysis.

The integration between Skandia and Morningstar Adviser Workstation allows advisers to quickly analyse a client’s holdings, while ensuring data integrity and avoiding unnecessary data entry.

Morningstar Adviser Workstation is an investment practice and portfolio management system for UK financial advisers. The all-inclusive platform is designed to support core aspects of an adviser’s practice and gives access to hundreds of quantitative performance and risk measures, operational and asset allocation data, and provides both simple and in-depth search filter functions.

Michael Barrett, Skandia platform marketing manager, says: “All of our tools are fully integrated within the Skandia platform, so we are delighted to add to our offering by providing access to Morningstar’s Adviser Workstation. It will give advisers flexibility in the way they analyse portfolios within a robust and repeatable process, with a full audit trail retained in the platform. A client review can be produced via Adviser Workstation in a matter of seconds, with no re-keying of data.”

Ana Georgiou, Morningstar adviser products manager, says: “Morningstar Adviser’s integration with Skandia is our latest efficiency offering to advisers. Advisers using the Skandia platform can now seamlessly access the portfolio details of all of their clients whose accounts are managed on the Skandia platform. The integration will save advisers time and resources.”
