City Financial, the London-based independent fund manager, has added Phillip Lee to its fixed income team with immediate effect.
Working closely with Graham Glass, lead manager of the City Financial Defensive Global Bond Fund, Lee joins as a global fixed income manager.
With over 25 years of experience in financial services, Lee brings with him a wealth of experience, specialising in fixed income markets and derivatives. He joins from Asset Risk Consultants, an independent investment consulting practice, where he held the position of associate director. Lee has previously held a broad range of roles, including portfolio management, proprietary trader, strategist and risk adviser at companies including HSBC, Old Mutual Asset Management and Exco International.
Glass says: “Phillip’s extensive fixed income knowledge will help drive our commitment of delivering consistent returns with minimal volatility and low correlation. We look forward to working with him to develop our business strategy.”
