Arbuthnot Latham is to establish an operation in the North West which will play a key strategic role in the firm’s UK network.
Arbuthnot Latham’s chief executive James Fleming says: “As part of Arbuthnot Latham’s strategy to expand its client base, opening an operation in the North West will enable us to increase access to the significant high net worth population in the area. Arbuthnot Latham, as a local service-led independent advice-based business, has a great deal to offer and will, I am sure, resonate with our potential client base in the North West .”
To coincide with the establishment of the North West operation, Arbuthnot Latham has appointed Paul Chester as director, private banking north west region.
Fleming says: “I am delighted to welcome Paul Chester to the Arbuthnot Latham team. As we celebrate Arbuthnot Latham’s 180th Anniversary, it seems a good time to bring the expertise and professionalism that is the hallmark of the Arbuthnot Latham brand to the North West.”
“Paul has joined Arbuthnot Latham to assist with delivering our organisation’s services to high net worth individuals across the North West and his previous experience and knowledge of the North West Region will be invaluable.”
Chester says: “I am delighted to be joining Arbuthnot Latham at what is a genuinely exciting time in the Bank’s development. I am looking forward to working for a firm that looks to differentiate itself by the excellent service levels it provides to its clients.
“Regulatory change has led to huge disruption in the private banking and wealth management industry and Arbuthnot Latham, with its Chartered Financial Planning status, is ideally placed to prosper at this time.”
