Cetera Financial Group has partnered with Envestnet to deliver new performance reporting and business analytics capabilities to its advisors.

The new custom technology integrates into Cetera's SmartWorks workstation to complement its existing trading and rebalancing tools.

The reporting technology Envestnet has customised for Cetera expands advisors' ability to review, analyse and track performance for specific accounts, client portfolios and across their entire book of business.

Features and benefits include:

• Improving advisor and client interaction by allowing access to interactive views of accounts and reports via a client portal
• "Drill down" features allowing immediate access to summary and granular data and analytics
• The ability to use advisors' individual branding on quarterly performance reports and in client account portals
• The ability to benchmark and track daily and point-to-point performance in advisor-managed accounts
• Practice management analytics to review overall performance at the advisor, branch or firm level
• Access to data via mobile and tablet devices
• Flexible, configurable and automated account billing capabilities

"This new performance reporting and analytic capability represents a giant leap forward in our mission to maintain our position as the best wealth management platform in the industry," says Steve Dunlap, executive vice president, wealth management at Cetera Financial Group. "Cetera is committed to providing the technology and products advisors need to meet the increasingly complex needs of their clients and fuel the growth of their advisory business."

The performance reports will be available for advisors and their clients on desktop, mobile and tablet devices, with customised branding functions. Flexible, customisable report generation allows advisors to choose options that meet the needs of their clients on a case-by-case basis and provides clients the freedom to access detailed account information from anywhere.

"Our partnership with Cetera exemplifies our companies' shared commitment to providing innovative, industry-leading solutions that address the needs of financial advisors and their end clients," says Lori Hardwick, executive vice president, advisory services at Envestnet. "Access to updated account information across several platforms empowers financial advisors to have more meaningful conversations with their clients, no matter where they are."
