Fiduciary Trust Company International has appointed Viraj Patel as director of asset allocation, a position within the firm's investment platform.
Patel is responsible for leading the firm's work on global capital market return and risk expectations across asset classes. He will also focus on strategic modelling and market based tactical positioning for client portfolios.
Fiduciary Trust focuses on creating a risk-aware investment process and building a team of portfolio and relationship managers that support multiple generations of clients. The firm's strategic and tactical asset allocation process is designed to minimise the effects of marketplace volatility to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Before joining Fiduciary Trust, Patel spent 10 years at Northern Trust in various asset management roles with an emphasis on asset allocation. Most recently, he served as a portfolio strategist for clients with multi-manager exposures.
