ClearVest unified investment management platform now open to investors

ClearVest, an independent investment platform for investors and investment managers, is now officially open to investors providing access to a diversified offering of alternative investment products.

ClearVest, which launched in early July of this year, now has 30 investment funds on the platform and is geared toward wealth advisors, qualified investors, and institutions looking for a total portfolio solution to bridge the gap between traditional and alternative assets.
With ClearVest’s proprietary web-based tools, investors can assess managers on the platform that were chosen following rigorous due diligence and research, upload an existing portfolio, perform comparative analysis on hypothetical portfolios, reallocate portfolios and funds to enhance performance and manage risk, and use an automated subscription process to make platform investments.
The platform offers users access to top-tier funds and a customised managed account solution with state of the art infrastructure, including daily position reconciliation, daily risk monitoring and reporting, performance analytics, NAV calculation and complete investor reporting.
“As it becomes more apparent that alternatives have an important role to play in the portfolios of all investors, ClearVest meets the marketplace demand for an accessible solution at access points that are very reasonable for investors. Our platform allows advisors and investors to review managers they would not otherwise be able to access, at lower minimums,” says Michael Griffin, chief executive of ClearVest. “We have consulted with our investor client base to get greater guidance on their needs allowing us to take our flexible technology and mold it into a truly comprehensive offering that is feature rich, and offers the types of reporting and additional flexibility investors will find attractive.”
“In a crowded universe of managed account platforms, ClearVest was an easy choice as we looked for a distribution partner for our funds. As a fully independent owned and operated platform, ClearVest offers a non-conflicted solution where our managed account does not have to compete with proprietary funds or sponsored product,” says Dennis Rhee, managing member at Treesdale Partners, an alternative asset management firm. “With ClearVest’s partnerships in the RIA sector, our product will also reach a more diverse investor universe.”
Other investment firms that have joined the ClearVest platform include Hudson Bay Capital Management and Winton Capital Management.
