Clay Rogers joins Succession platform

Midlands-based financial planning firm Clay Rogers and Partners has joined Succession Advisory Services, the UK vertically integrated, open architecture platform with controlled distribution.

The Birmingham-based financial planning organisation, which has almost doubled its funds under management to GBP450m in the last five years, has grown through acquisition and referrals.
Clay Rogers managing director Mark Rogers (pictured) says: “Becoming a member of Succession is a complementary position for our business following a period of sustained growth. We have a very clear vision to develop our proposition and the specialist team at Succession will provide the consultancy and support to help us achieve our long-term goals.
“Clay Rogers has a well-established reputation among our professional community, and we have developed close links with accountants and solicitors.  With 30 highly qualified staff, and quality planning at our core, we are excited about the opportunities to work with Succession, benefitting from best practice principles and sharing insight with Succession’s 60 member firms to build productive and profitable relationships, with clients at the heart of the proposition.”
Simon Chamberlain, chief executive of Succession, says: “Our partnership with Clay Rogers clearly demonstrates that the Succession proposition is attractive to the biggest and best financial planning and wealth management firms in the UK.  Succession is still the only business of its kind that is truly aligned with the business objectives of its member firms. We are unique in that we are seeking companies that want to continue to grow value rather than exit the industry, as we all work together in true partnership to capitalise the group at the end of 2017.”
