GenSpring Family Offices, a wealth management firm for ultra-high net worth families, has founded a new family office in Los Angeles.
The establishment of a Los Angeles location bolsters the firm’s continuing commitment to the California market and focus on continued national growth.
Leading the team in Los Angeles is Alan Bonde, a wealth advisory veteran who joins GenSpring as managing director of client development for the firm’s Western region after a 13-year career with Wilmington Trust. In this role, Bonde is responsible for introducing wealthy families and investors to GenSpring’s family office platform.
“GenSpring Family Offices has emerged as a clear market leader among family offices,” says Bonde. “GenSpring’s unparalleled expertise in helping families sustain and enhance their wealth is well known and was the driving factor in my decision to join the firm. I look forward to introducing wealthy families throughout the Western region to GenSpring.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Alan to GenSpring. He is a highly regarded industry veteran who brings both extensive wealth management experience and a fresh perspective to help us solve the challenges that wealthy families face,” says head of client development Michael Woocher, to whom Bonde will report. “California is a critical area to GenSpring and Alan’s leadership and deep roots in the region will be instrumental as we continue to focus our growth efforts.”
Joining Bonde is Jan Vega, family wealth advisor with GenSpring and former relationship manager with Wilmington Trust in Los Angeles. In her new role, Vega is responsible for providing integrated advice and services across a variety of wealth management areas including estate planning, tax, family governance, education and risk management.
