HSBC appoints regional head of retail banking and wealth management for Asia-Pacific

HSBC has appointed Kevin Martin as regional head of retail banking and wealth management (RBWM), Asia-Pacific with immediate effect.

Based in Hong Kong, Martin (pictured) is responsible for delivering the global RBWM strategy in Asia to continue to grow a sustainable business across the region.
 
Martin succeeds Louisa Cheang who has moved to London to take up a new role as HSBC’s group head of retail banking. Prior to his current role, Martin was senior executive vice president and head of retail banking and wealth management and marketing, North America.
 
Martin joined HSBC in 1987 and has worked in Australia as head of personal financial services and in a variety of roles in marketing, training, corporate banking and retail banking in the UK, Hong Kong, the US and Canada.
