Horizons ETFs announces final valuation times for ETF closures


Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) has announced the final valuation times for three exchange-traded funds that are due to be terminated on 31 January 2014.

The ETFs being terminated are the Horizons BetaPro COMEX Copper Bull Plus ETF (HKU); the Horizons BetaPro COMEX Copper Bear Plus ETF (HKD); and the Horizons Australian Dollar Currency ETF (ASD).
At the request of the manager, the units of each of the terminated ETFs will be delisted at the close of business on 28 January 2014 (delisting date). 
The final net asset value for ASD will be determined at 4pm (Toronto time) on 28 January. For HKU and HKD, the final net asset value will be determined at 1pm (Toronto time) on 28 January at which time the Investment Industry Regulatory Organisation of Canada will halt trading in HKU and HKD for the remainder of the day.
All outstanding Class A units of the terminated ETFs will be redeemed at the final net asset values of the respective ETFs on 31 January 2014.
