EFG International makes senior hire in Luxembourg


EFG International’s business in Luxembourg has appointed Lena Lascari to the position of team head, with effect from 1 March 2014.

She will be a member of the management committee and will report to François-Regis Montazel, managing director of EFG Bank (Luxembourg) SA.
An experienced wealth management professional and leader, Lascari will focus on the development of Greek HNWI business.
Lascari was most recently chief executive officer and managing director of Eurobank Private Bank, based in Luxembourg. Prior to this, she was head of wealth management at HSBC in Athens, Greece from 2001 to 2002 and, before that, spent 15 years at Credit Commercial de France, culminating as country CEO, Greek branches.
Montazel says: "I am delighted to welcome Lena on board. She has a wealth of leadership experience in the private banking sector and her extensive connections will be invaluable in helping us to grow our business with Greek clients."
Lascari says: "I am excited by this new role. EFG has a strong track record in Luxembourg, and its ambitious plans to grow its business, along with the entrepreneurial credentials of EFG, were a major attraction. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and helping the bank to generate future growth.”
