Signia Wealth has appointed Paul Lester as company chairman.

Lester’s role includes advising and governing the entrepreneurially-led executive team as well as supporting Signia’s advisory board.

Lester (pictured) is currently chairman of the UK’s third largest private company, Greenergy International, as well as the FTSE 250 firm John Laing Infrastructure Fund.

He is also chairman of the private equity backed companies Parabis, Survitec and Peverel.

Prior to his current roles he was chief executive of VT Group and group managing director of Balfour Beatty. Lester was also on the board of the FTSE 100 company Invensys Plc until its recent sale.

Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, chief executive of Signia Wealth, says: “Paul is hugely respected in industry and the city, and his appointment is another illustration of the expertise we are able to offer our clients. The advisory board and all of us here at Signia Wealth are extremely pleased to welcome him.

“Paul’s appointment adds yet another dimension to Signia Wealth’s unique wealth management offering, and follows the recent high profile hire of Michael Rosenthal as managing director, hedge funds, as well as the appointment of Sir Keith Mills to our advisory board.”

Lester says: “Nathalie has assembled an enviable team of industry experts and advisers, offering clients a level of investment insight that is unprecedented in the industry. As chairman, I look forward to working with the team to continue growing what is already a very successful business.”
