BNP Paribas Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) has appointed Andy Ruckh to its global equities and commodity derivatives business in New York as head of US ETF trading.
The move reflects an expansion of the bank’s US ETF trading capabilities designed to provide additional service and expertise to a range of clients.
Ruckh will report to Luke Edwards, head of cash equities.
The hire is set to complement the bank’s existing offering in options and cash equities trading.
“Andy’s experience as a senior ETF trader and his excellent relationships in the industry will be crucial as we seek to offer ETF trading facilitation to our wide-ranging clientele,” says Chris Innes, head of equities, Americas for BNP Paribas. “We look forward to adding this as a complementary service to our existing product offering to a range of institutional clients, including asset managers and registered investment advisors.”
Ruckh brings 20 years of experience in the industry to BNP Paribas, having most recently served as head of US ETF trading at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. Prior to this he was head of ETF trading at Jefferies and Deutsche Bank.
