BNP Paribas enhances Parvest international fund range

RELATED TOPICS

BNP Paribas Investment Partners has enhanced Parvest, its international fund range, with new strategies and a complete set of digital services and sales and advisory tools for private bank clients and external distributors.

Parvest is a SICAV under Luxembourg laws and is compliant with the European directive UCITS IV, which aims to protect retail investors.

With Parvest’s relaunch, BNP Paribas Investment Partners becomes the number one asset manager in Europe, both in terms of the breadth of its offering (106 funds with EUR35bn of assets under management) and international reach (funds are registered for sale in more than 30 countries).

Four new investment strategies have been added to the Parvest range since January 2014: Nordic small/mid-cap equities, low-volatility emerging market equities, Russian bonds and European listed property.

Parvest’s structure concerning the major asset classes has been completely overhauled, with its funds now grouped into themes that reflect the most pressing concerns of today’s investors: responsible investing with SRI (socially-responsible investment), obtaining higher returns by investing in fast-growing markets, long-term investing to prepare for the future, supplementing income and diversifying investments.

Parvest’s new functionalities were developed to be closer to its clients who are looking for advice and support throughout their investment lifecycles. These new services are available through a wide range of digital media, and include seven new websites accessible in five languages, a new iPad application providing access to information when on the move, simulation tools to test various investment plans, blogs providing BNPP IP’s investment experts’ latest views, and an active presence on social networks to improve BNPP IP’s proximity to and interaction with investors.

“The relaunched Parvest spearheads BNPP IP’s international development. Completely overhauled, simplified and enhanced, the Parvest range provides our clients around the world with not only unique and easy access to the best investment expertise of BNPP IP and its partners, but also a whole new set of services to help them solve their investment issues,” says Philippe Marchessaux, CEO of BNP Paribas Investment Partners.
