City Financial appoints Mark Pearson as marketing director

RELATED TOPICS

Independent asset management business City Financial has appointed Mark Pearson as marketing director.

Pearson will lead the development and implementation of City Financial’s marketing strategy for the growing propositions within the business.

He brings with him extensive experience in developing and marketing asset management, adviser and customer solutions. Pearson was previously head of the investment strategy and communications function for life assurer AEGON UK.

During his time at AEGON UK, Pearson worked closely with Peter Toogood and Gill Hutchison on an investment proposition worth GBP1bn.

Andrew Williams, CEO of City Financial, says: “We have been very successful in growing the business through a range of distinct propositions. This success brings a challenge in product development, marketing and distribution. The appointment of Mark is a key step in us meeting that challenge and further expanding the business.”
