Stephen Birmingham joins Taylor Investment Counselors as exec VP

Asset management firm Taylor Investment Counselors has appointed Stephen Birmingham as executive vice president, director of business development.

Birmingham will be responsible for marketing their existing strategies and new investment vehicles to pension plans, endowments, foundations, and their consultants as well as family offices and individuals.
 
“Stephen brings to Taylor experience calling on financial intermediaries and multiple channels across the investment advisory market segment,” says Ben Niedermeyer, chief investment officer and senior partner at Taylor Investment Counselors. 
 
Prior to joining Taylor Investment Counselors, Birmingham served as a vice president at The Coyle Company, marketing generational wealth transfer strategies to high net worth clients.
 
Prior to this he was a managing director in the institutional services group at Windhaven Investment Management, as well as a member of the investment committee. At Windhaven, he oversaw the broker-dealer sales channel and managed the internal distribution group that served the financial consultants interested in their strategies.
