Kinetic Partners, the global financial services advisory firm, has made two promotions in its team in Hong Kong.

AnnMarie Croswell has been promoted to member and Katrina Banh to associate director within Kinetic Partners regulatory compliance team in Hong Kong.

Since establishing in Hong Kong two years ago, Kinetic Partners has seen significant growth in the number of clients based in Hong Kong requesting support for Securities & Futures Commission (SFC) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registration, as well as on-going compliance advice.

Demand from larger firms and investment banks for support with transaction monitoring and reporting and systems and controls reviews, following regulator focus on these areas, has also been increasing.

Julian Korek, CEO at Kinetic Partners, says: “This is an exciting time for Kinetic Partners and it’s great to see our regulatory compliance team continue to grow. These latest internal promotions reflect the continued development of our team and our firm's commitment in Hong Kong over the past two years.

“Our regulatory experience in multiple jurisdictions has added significant value to our clients in Hong Kong, with many having regulatory requirements with the SEC in the US as well as using our Hong Kong service to comply with the SFC.

“Our ability to harness other regulatory skills and knowledge from across the US and Europe as well as Asia is very much at the core of our growth.”
